The Volumetric Building Companies (VBC) is a global, vertically integrated volumetric modular provider. VBC's flagship factory is a 600,000-square-foot state-of-the-art automated facility capable of producing 25,000 sf of multifamily housing every week on a single shift. Attendees will observe the production of 376 units for a mixed-use apartment complex in Los Angeles.

The tour will walk conference attendees through each of our stages of manufacturing - floor fabrication, wall fabrication, ceiling fabrication and modular assembly and fit out on our fully automated conveyor system. You will observe how we take buildings designed in Revit and break them down to machine files so that they can be fabricated by our automated equipment. Moreover, our manufacturing process has demonstrated a 60%+ reduction in carbon emissions affirming that modular construction is the future.
